SideAce terms.
These terms apply to SideAce together with the purchase terms shown by the channel where the app was acquired, including Apple, Microsoft, or a direct website purchase handled by Stripe. If a mandatory law or applicable platform term conflicts with these terms, the mandatory law or platform term controls.
Product and licence
Subject to payment and the applicable purchase terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SideAce for lawful personal or business recordkeeping on your supported devices. You may not redistribute the direct Mac installer or download link; copy, sell, rent, or sublicense the app; reverse engineer it except where law permits; bypass security controls; or use the app to violate another person’s rights.
Important boundaries
SideAce does not send invoices or proposals, process payments, connect to banks or tax authorities, provide cloud sync, track routes with GPS, file taxes, or provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Payment status, mileage, document delivery, and backups require user action. Calculations and signals depend on the records you enter and may not fit your jurisdiction or circumstances.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for lawful data entry, permissions for personal information, device security, accurate review of exported documents, tested encrypted backups, and safe handling of files outside the app. Keep backup passwords secure; the publisher cannot recover them.
Purchases and refunds
The direct Mac checkout lets you choose the displayed USD or CAD price before continuing to Stripe. The applicable store or Stripe checkout displays the selected currency, price, taxes, billing terms, and available payment methods. See the refund page for the channel-specific process. Nothing here limits a mandatory consumer right.
Updates and availability
We may provide fixes, compatibility updates, or feature changes through supported stores or the direct-download channel. A direct purchase does not promise every future major version. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or support for every operating-system or hardware version. Material end-of-support information will be posted through an appropriate product or store channel.
Ownership and your data
The publisher and its licensors retain rights in SideAce, its code, and branding. You retain rights in records and files you create. If you send feedback, do not include confidential customer records or credentials; we may use the feedback to improve the product.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, SideAce is provided without promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a specific accounting, tax, legal, security, or regulatory purpose. The publisher is not responsible for decisions based on incomplete or inaccurate user-entered records. Applicable statutory warranties and remedies are not excluded.
Termination and data
Your licence may end if required by law, the applicable store terms, or a material breach that is not cured where a cure is required. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may delete local data. Backups and exports remain where you stored them and must be managed separately.
