Email support@adeptuslabs.xyz with “SideAce security report” in the subject, the affected version and platform, reproducible steps using fictional data, expected impact, and a safe way to contact you. The machine-readable contact is published at security.txt.

Good-faith research

Please avoid privacy violations, service disruption, social engineering, physical attacks, denial of service, and accessing data that is not yours. Stop testing and report promptly if you encounter sensitive information. This page does not authorize access to another person’s device, purchase, account, or records.

What SideAce protects

SideAce is local-first. Its current backup format uses password-based authenticated encryption, but security still depends on device protection, a strong unique backup password, safe storage, and current operating-system updates.
